Overview

The Community Manager is responsible for supporting the managing editor with coordination, planning, and organization of social content while publishing and optimizing evergreen, campaign and ad hoc social media efforts and moderating online communities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from a four-year accredited college or university.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in entry-level advertising or marketing position.
  • Previous experience in a mid-size/large agency environment, can work autonomously with a set process as well as on a team.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Comfortable in both PC and MAC environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Knowledge of HTML, Photoshop, Flash MX a definite plus.
  • Ideal candidate will be an avid sports fan with a particular interest in New York/New Jersey sports culture.
  • Community management experience is preferred but not required.
